eDocuFile - Document Management Software
eDocuFile is an extremely simple to use, yet very powerful and versatile document management and imaging software! The software scans, translates and stores all images to text files, manages color, black and white, gray scale including digital camera pictures and offers standard and intelligent (text searchable) PDF output.
eDocuFile is an image management software solutions for Twain and ISIS paper scanner interfaces including optional hybrid legacy interface modules for microfilm scanners, cameras and automated microfilm reader printers. By combining digital imaging with legacy or analog (microfilm) retrieval and scanning compatibility, clients may easily combine "old" and "new" document image management technologies using a single database that "does it all".
eDocuVIEW-CDTM allows the creation of distribution CD's with the eDocuVIEW software resident on the CD.
eDocuFile uses the very latest OCR, or Optical Character Recognition technology to convert scanned images to text. The software "reads" scanned images and loads these text files into its internal text retrieval search engine. Additionally, eDocufile features "fuzzy" text search capability to provide improved text search accuracy to circumvent OCR read errors that can be caused by poor image quality.
